1. The Service

CARME.PRO provides automotive information tools and content, which may include ownership cost estimates, VIN-related information, engine and transmission Q&A, articles, and similar features. Features may change, be added, or discontinued at any time.

Content is for general informational purposes only and is not professional, legal, financial, mechanical, or insurance advice. Always verify critical decisions with qualified professionals and official sources.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Accounts

If accounts become available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use at [email protected].

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at abusive scale, disrupt, or overload the Service.
• Submit malware, spam, or content that infringes others’ rights.
• Misrepresent your identity or the source of submitted data.
• Use outputs to deceive buyers/sellers of vehicles in a fraudulent manner.
• Circumvent payment, rate limits, or security controls.

5. User inputs and generated content

You retain rights in the raw inputs you submit (subject to any third-party rights in VINs, data, or trademarks). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, generate derivatives from, display, and improve the Service using your inputs and resulting outputs, as needed to operate and develop the Service.

Generated analyses and articles may be cached or published on the Service. Do not submit confidential personal data of third parties unless you have a lawful basis to do so.

6. Paid features, Stripe, billing, and refunds

Some features may require payment. Prices, currencies, taxes, and plan details will be shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe or another designated payment processor. By purchasing, you authorize us and our processor to charge the selected payment method for the amounts due, including recurring charges if you subscribe.

Unless required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees are non-refundable once digital content or a paid analysis has been delivered. For billing issues, contact [email protected] or [email protected] within a reasonable time and include your receipt or transaction reference.

We may change prices with notice for future periods. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase, except taxes based on our net income.

7. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertisements. Ads do not constitute endorsement. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser, except as required by law.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, logos, text, and branding of CARME.PRO, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials except as expressly allowed by the Service’s ordinary use or with prior written permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service may rely on third parties (hosting, AI providers, payment processors, ad networks, analytics). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Vehicle data, cost estimates, reliability statements, and VIN-related information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that results will meet your expectations for a purchase, sale, repair, or insurance decision.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY EUROS (EUR 50) OR EQUIVALENT.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including consumer rights that cannot be waived).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply if you are a consumer.

Courts of competent jurisdiction where the operator is established shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence as a consumer.
